How to use the short page option?
Things to note:
Short page is used for column balancing – to move the lines between the pages when the uneven alignments are noticed.
Step 1: Open the article along with the PDF.
Step 2: See which page the column balancing issue was on.
Step 3: Once the page is identified, then go to edit and click on the short page option from the menu.
Step 4: Then you will see the pop-up with the component below.
Step 5: Click add new button, you will see the options below.
Step 6: Here the user needs to enter the page and line details. As below.
Enter the page number – on which page you want to reduce the line.
Short by – on how many lines wanted to reduce on the particular page.
Step 7: Eg. As below, then click save.
Step 8: Click, Export PDF button to see the changes in PDF.
