Guide for using Table Setter
- To open the table setter option, click on ‘Preview’ option on the table. (or)
- Click on specific table which thereby opens ‘Table’ option and choose ‘Table setter’

1. How to adjust the table layout?
- Choose the layout options on the left to format the table into a specific layout.
- The preview of the table will be displayed in the right tab.

2. How to equally adjust the column distribution?
- To adjust the column distribution, press shift and select the columns that you want to adjust.
- Click ‘Equal adjust’ to adjust the column.
- Click ‘Discard changes’ to revert the changes you made.
3. How to modify the grid options?
- To turn on or off the grid options, adjust the toggle placed near the table/page grid option.
- The grids will disappear once you turn off the option.
4. How to change the font size of the text in the table?
- Adjust the font size by changing the values of font in the left toolbar.
Note: The maximum font size is set to 9 points by default.
5. How to change the alignment of the contents in the table?
- To align the contents in the table horizontally and vertically, select the specific columns.
- Click any of the below options horizontal (left, center, right, justify) and vertical (top, center and bottom)

- To align the contents by character, select the specific columns.
- Click any of the following options- dot, hyphen, parenthesis, comma, plus, minus, plus or minus, Emdash and Endash

6. How to increase/decrease the indent?
- Click shift and select multiple columns.
- Click the options below to increase/decrease the indentation.

7. How to add/remove the borders to a table?
- To add borders to a table, select the specific columns and click ‘Borders’ option.
- Select any of the following options- left, right, top, bottom and all.
- The below screenshot depicts the view after adding using ‘All’ option in borders.
- To remove the borders, select the specific columns and click ‘Clear’ in borders option
- The below screenshot depicts the view after removing the borders.
8. How to adjust the colspan and column width?
- Click shift and select multiple columns.
To span a single table cell over multiple columns, the colspan is used. - Give the number of columns that need to be spanned in the colspan.

- Adjust the values in the column width to increase or decrease the width of the column
9. How to zoom in or zoom out of the preview table?
- Click shift and select multiple columns.
- Click zoom in or zoom out option in the top right corner.
