How to place float on a certain page and position?

Solution: 

The floats will be placed near to the citation automatically either to top or bottom position.

If you want to change the position for a float in the same page, then follow the below steps, 

Step 1: Click the float and choose the ‘Place floats’ option from the Edit menu. 

Step 2: Select the position top or bottom for the selected float. 

Step 3: Click the ‘Save and close’ button. 

Step 4: Generate proof and check whether it is placed correctly or not. 

 

 

Similarly repeat the same for the following scenarios, 

  1. If you want to place the float on a specific page, then select the page number and position for the selected float. 
  2. If you want to place the float on a specific column, then select the column where the float is to be placed. 
  3. If you want to extend the floats to number columns, then select the column where the float to be placed and select the number of columns, the float to be extended.
