Solution:
Method 1:
We have option to adjust the word space and margin space in Kriya editor window.
Step 1: Select the text on a paragraph which opens a popup with ‘Proof control’ option.
Step 2: Click ‘Proof control’ which thereby opens the list of options in proof control.
Step 3: Select ‘Word space’ option to increase or decrease the space between words in a paragraph.
or Select ‘Margin space’ option to increase or decrease the space above the headings.
Step 4: If you are still not able to base align, then remove or add some lines by increasing or decreasing float-top or float-bottom gap using the ‘Place floats’ option.
Step 5: Export the PDF and check whether the base is aligned.
If the problem persists, move the article to the Technical Support team of Kriyadocs.
Method 2:
In some cases, reduce the page frame height for 1 line by using ‘Short page’ option in editor window to base align. Follow the below steps,
Step 1: Click ‘Edit’ menu and choose ‘Short page’ option.
Step 2: The ‘Short page’ popup will open, click the ‘Add New’ button.
Step 3: Add the page number of the page you want to shorten in the ‘Make page’ option.
Step 4: Add the number of lines you want to reduce in ‘Short by’ option.
Step 5: Click ‘Save’ button.
If you want this change on other pages, repeat this process.
Step 6: Export the PDF and check whether the base is aligned.
