How to select backup reviewers?
- You can add backup reviewers in case your preferred reviewers decline.
- The system will automatically trigger invitation emails to backup reviewers when invited reviewers decline.
- To do this, click on ‘Select as backup’.
- Alternatively, if you feel you need more alternate reviewers, you can click the ‘Add to reviewer list’ button.
- This will add the chosen reviewers to the list but will not trigger any invites automatically. These reviewers can be invited if your preferred reviewers and backup reviewers have declined or are unresponsive.
- Once you have invited all the reviewers you need, click on the ‘Invite & Track’ tab to track their responses and perform other additional actions.
