What is Metadata?

In Kriya, metadata is utilized to incorporate supplementary information about a manuscript in the form of footnotes, formatted in accordance with the specific guidelines of the target journal. 

Step 1: Open the article and click on the reference section.

Step 2: Scroll a bit upward and see you will see the list of footnotes configured on the journal.

Step 3: Open any of the footnotes, you will see the text box and enter the relevant text that you wanted to add.

Step 4: Then click save to reflect the same.
