What is funding and how it is inserted in KD?
Step 1: Open the article and find Funding.
Step 2: Funding should be inserted as two ways:
Free text form – like a standard metadata.
Adding it from Fund Ref repo – including the funding id, institution name and all.
Step 3: Free text is like a standard statement (inserting the metadata).
Step 4: To add the data from fundref, click on add funder.
Step 5: Then pop-up will be opened up like below.
Step 6: Then search for the institution and stat type search for that,
Step 7: Select the appropriate institution name.
Step 8: Then the details will be filled out automatically.
