How to delete the affiliation of authors?

1. To delete the affiliation, click on the ‘Delete icon’ in the affiliation listed below their names. 
   

1. A confirmation request will be triggered after clicking the delete icon. 
2. Click ‘Yes’ to delete the affiliation 
   

1. Click ‘Undo’ to undo the deletion of affiliation. 
2. The screenshot below depicts the view after deleting the affiliation. 
   

 

Note: If the affiliation is deleted, it will be marked in red strike-through. 

1. After removing the affiliation, the author previously linked to it will have no designation.  
2. You can give the author a different affiliation by clicking the author's name or add the author in another affiliation. 
   

The affiliation will be reordered accordingly with resp the order of author’s name. 

Note: This field is configured based on the publisher's requirements, so access may be restricted for some users.
