How to add label to an equation?

How to add label to an equation?

  1. Type the label number or letter adjacent to the equation. 

 

  1. Select the label and click ‘Style’ option in the toolbar. 
  2. Choose ‘Eqn label’ option to designate the text as equation label. 

 

  1. The screenshot below depicts the view after adding label to an equation. 

 

Note: This equation will remain uncited initially, but it can be cited anywhere in the text later.
