What should be done when re-ordering of references is not triggered?

Solution: 

  1. Make sure that each reference is properly cited.
  2. To verify whether a reference has been cited, please employ one of the following methods: 

Method: 1 

Step 1: Click the ‘Query’ tab from the right panel tool bar. 

Step 2: Check whether auto queries are raised for uncited references. 

Step 3: Click ‘Cite now’ to cite the reference in the respective position 

Step 4: Once you click ‘Cite now’ reference reorder notification will be displayed in the right panel. 

Step 5: Click ‘Reorder’ to reorder the references.

Method: 2 

Step 1: Click the ‘References’ tab from the right panel tool bar.  

Step 2: Check the ‘Citation Count’ of each reference. 

Step 3: If a reference’s citation count is mentioned as 0, then this implies that the reference is not cited in the text. 

Step 4: Click ‘Cite now’ to cite the reference in the respective position 

Step 5: Click ‘Reorder’ to reorder the references.
