How to find and replace a word in Kriya?

  1. Click on the ‘Magnifying glass’ icon on the top right corner, adjacent to the help icon.

 

  1. Type the word to be found inside the manuscript in ‘Find what’ textbox. 
  2. Click ‘Enter’ or ‘Search’ button to search the word.  
  3. Use the up and down arrows to navigate through the occurrences of the word. 

 

Note: All identified words will be highlighted in yellow and the word where the cursor is situated will be highlighted in dark blue. 
  1. Type the replacing text in the ‘Replace with’ textbox.  
  2. Click ‘Enter’ or ‘Replace’ to replace the next occurrence of the found text. 

You can replace as many occurrences of the searched text as you would like. 

 

  1. The screenshot below depicts the view after replacing the existing word. 

 

 

Note: The new text is underlined in blue. The old text which is replaced is marked in red strikethrough. 

 

  1. To replace all occurrences of the word, use the “Replace All” button to replace all occurrences of your searched word in just one click. 
  2. The screenshot below depicts the view after replacing all the words. 

 

Note: Replace will work only in plain text content not in editable fields including author details, affiliation, other metadata details, etc.
