How to apply filters while searching for a word?
- For advanced search, use the following filters:
- Match whole word
- Match case
- In selection
- More filters:
- Match formatting
- Include objects
a. Match whole word
- Click ‘Match whole word’ option to find and replace all the words irrespective of casing.
- For instance, all occurrences are highlighted in the screenshot below, even if the search term is in uppercase.
b. Match case
- Click ‘Match case’ option to find and replace a word with the matching case.
- For instance, only the following uppercase example is found and highlighted.
c. In selection
- Select a paragraph(s) and click ‘In selection’ option to find and replace a word within the selected section.
- The screenshot below depicts the view after finding and replacing a word within a paragraph.
- Select any of the formatting options below to match the word with the exact format.
e. Include objects
- Select any of the objects below to find the words within the objects.
- Also, you can select a specific figure, table or a box to filter your search.
