How to add a query to a reference?

  1. Click on the reference that you want to enquire. 
  2. Click on the ‘Insert query’ highlighted in the screenshot below. 

 

  1. Upon clicking the query icon, a pop-up containing a free-form query box and pre-defined queries will appear. 
  2. You can add query to the author, publisher or typesetter by clicking the dropdown. 
  3. You can either type the query you want to ask or select a query from the list of pre-defined queries. 

 

 

Note: If you select any of the pre-defined queries, it will be automatically converted into a free-form query. 

  1. Click ‘Upload file’ to upload the necessary file or screenshots if you want and click ‘Add’ to save the query. 

 

(or) 

  1. Hover over the uploaded file and click ‘Delete’ icon to delete the uploaded file. 

 

  1. A red bubble will appear in the reference to indicate the presence of attached queries. 
  2. Additionally, the queries will be listed in the reference tab in the right panel tool bar.
