What happens when a figure is reordered using Place floats?

What happens when a figure is reordered using Place floats?

Solution:

  1. Typically, a figure is positioned close to its citation.
  2. ‘Place floats’ option is used to fine-tune the positioning of the float in the PDF.
  3. This adjustment becomes necessary when a float needs to be adjusted to accommodate page layout changes.

Note: This adjustment does not alter the underlying XML, ensuring that the figure remains positioned near its citation within the XML structure.
