Overview of review history

Here you can view a quick summary of the review progress for current version and history of previous versions.

  1. Once an article has been sent out for review, the 'Review history' tab shows a summary of the peer review progress.
  2. Click 'Review history' tab placed at the top of the manuscript or access it from the quick actions on the dashboard.  

Using this tab, you will be able to: 

  1. View the versions of the article-Original, R1 (revision 1), R2 (revision 2)  
  2. Editors will also be able to see a ‘call to action’ badge on top that indicates the following status of the review: 
    1. Need to invite reviewers 
    2. Waiting for reviewer’s response 
    3. Ready to make decision 
      1. Once a decision is made, the badge will display the respective decision: 
        1. Accepted for publication 
        2. Rejected for publication 
        3. Sent for revisions 
    4. View the number of review invites sent, yet to respond, declined, accepted, review completed and in progress 
    5. View two options, ‘Review details’ and ‘Decision letter’
