How to view basic article information

  1. Article cards are short information blocks about the manuscript, displayed on the dashboard.   

 

An article card contains essential information about an article, namely: 
  1. Article ID 
  2. Article title 
  3. First author name and co-author count 
  4. System labels for indicating: 
    1. Due date: When an article is due (for the current stage) 
    2. Assignee: Whom the article is assigned to 
    3. Days in Review: How many days an article has spent from submission to the current stage  
  5. In addition to these system labels, there are additional custom labels that your administrator can configure to provide more at-a-glance information  
  6. Some examples of custom labels include:  
    1. Article type (Research, Review etc) 
    2. Revision number 
    3. Special issue name 
    4. ...and a whole lot more. Do contact your administrator to turn on the labels that will be useful to manage your assignments. 
  7. If you are ready to begin reviewing an article, click the ‘Pencil’ icon on upper right corner of the article card to access the review page.
