Solution: 

Step 1: Click ‘Preview’ option in table to open the table setter. 

Step 2: Then select the column or cell where you want to update or remove the colspan. 

Step 3: Give the colspan count if you want to update the colspan or remove the colspan value if you want to remove the colspan.
