How to insert a new figure?

How to insert a new figure?

  1. Place the cursor where you wish to insert a new figure. 
  2. Go to ‘Insert menu’ and click ‘Figure’ icon.  

 


  1. A popup named ‘Insert new figure’ appears. 
  2. Input the following details,
    1. Object type: Inline (without label and caption), Display (with label and caption), Display without label (has caption but not label) 
    2. Figure of: Refers to the figure added to the sub-article part. 
    3. Give the appropriate captions and footnote of the figure.

  1. Drag and drop the image or upload from local storage. 
  2. Click ‘Save and Close’ to save the figure.

Note: Newly inserted figures are highlighted with blue outline and will be inserted at the end, labeled as uncited.
