How to add new author information?

  • To add a new author to the existing list, click ‘Add author’ button. 

 
  • The comprehensive list of required fields for author details includes, 

    • ORCID ID 

    • Prefix  

    • First name and surname 

    • Role 

    • On behalf of  

    • Deceased 

    • Collaboration 

    • Author bio 

    • Correspondence details 

    • Affiliation 

    • Contribution details 

    • Group authors 

  • Enter the author’s unique ORCID ID, prefix (optional) and full name. 

  • Provide the author's designated role, which denotes their responsibility within the affiliation. 

  • Give "On behalf of" details, when the author represents an organization. 

 
  • Select the checkbox to indicate the author is deceased and give the respective details. 

  • Enter the collaborating organization name if the article involves collaboration. 

 
  • Enter or upload the author's bio. 

 
  • Select the checkbox to denote the correspondence author and enter their email ID. 

  • Give any of the following authorship details, 

  1. Equal contributor with - All the authors are equally contributed. 
  2. First authorship with - Authors who played primary role in the study. 
  3. Senior authorship with - Authors who, although not directly engaged in the research, offer guidance and mentorship to the research team. 
Note: The authorship specification may vary depending on the customer requirements. 

 
  • Click ‘+Add new’ button if you want to add new affiliation. 

 
  • Enter the department, institute name, city, state and country. 

 
  • Click ‘+Add existing’ to choose the affiliation that is given earlier. 

 
  • Click on '+Add new' to input a new address or click '+Add existing' to choose the provided affiliation as the current address. 

  • Select the checkbox to signify the author's contribution to the present study. 

 
  • Give the group authors name if the study involved collaborating organization. 

  • Click ‘Add group member’ to add single member or ‘Add multiple members’ to add multiple authors.
