How to add article/load manuscript to Kriya?

If the article is moved from the peer review process to production in Kriya, manual upload of manuscript and related documents is not required. However, if no peer review process or no FTP is involved, users should upload the manuscript manually. 

1. To upload manuscript manually to Kriya, click the ‘Add article’ button on the dashboard. 
   

 

1. Provide the following article details: 
   
1. Choose the journal name from the dropdown menu. 
   
2. Enter the article ID in the following format: kriya_2024_2345 (customer name_year_four-digit number). 
   
3. Select the article type from the dropdown menu. 
   
4. Enter or copy-paste the article title. 

Note: If the article ID already exists, you must provide a different one, otherwise it cannot be added to Kriya.  

 

1. Click ‘+’ icon to upload the manuscript file or folder only in zip format. 

 

Note: Compress the folder containing the manuscript, figures, supplementary files, and any other documents into a ZIP file before uploading it here. 

1. Click ‘Add article’ to load the article to Kriya. 

 

1. The screenshot below shows the confirmation message displayed after the article has been successfully added. 

 

Note: Manuscripts uploaded to Kriya will be moved to the Pre-Editing stage.
